Samantha (Sam) Habusta is a Licensed Social Worker based in Toledo, Ohio, with a strong background in clinical social work, child and family services, and community-based care. She holds a Master of Social Work from Spring Arbor University (2024) and a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration from The University of Toledo (2015).

Sam currently provides diagnostic assessments and individual and family therapy services. Sam works with children, adolescents, and adults. Her clinical approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, and she has additional training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and EMDR. She is a certified CANS assessor, and a Safe and Sound Protocol provider. She collaborates closely with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, client-centered care.

Her experience spans early intervention, developmental disabilities, foster care, and home health services. Sam has a deep commitment to supporting vulnerable populations, informed by both her professional work and her experience as a licensed foster parent. She has worked extensively with children and families navigating complex systems, advocating for appropriate services, educational supports, and long-term stability.

In addition to her clinical expertise, Sam brings strong leadership and operational experience. She has managed teams, overseen program operations, and contributed to organizational development in healthcare and residential settings. She is known for her collaborative communication style, mentorship of new clinicians, and ability to integrate clinical insight with practical solutions.
