About Alicia

Alicia Martinez, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner serving teens and adults at our Toledo office and by telehealth throughout Ohio. She earned her Post-Master's PMHNP Certificate from Northern Kentucky University and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Toledo. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Alicia spent more than two decades in behavioral health, including inpatient psychiatry, outpatient community mental health, youth crisis services, and work as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner. That background shapes a calm, trauma-informed approach: she takes time to understand what a person has already been through before recommending a treatment plan, and she treats medication decisions as a conversation rather than a prescription handed across a desk.
