Alicia Kirk, NP

“I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.” – Carl Jung

Alicia Kirk has devoted more than 15 years to caring for patients and families across a variety of healthcare settings. She began her nursing journey at the University of Toledo, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012. Driven by her passion for comprehensive patient care, she went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Toledo in 2018, becoming a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Throughout her years in practice, she developed a deep understanding of the connection between physical and mental health and recognized the growing need for accessible psychiatric services.

In 2025, Alicia completed her post-master’s certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing at Saginaw Valley State University, expanding her expertise to include the full spectrum of psychiatric care. This additional training allows her to bring a holistic, lifespan approach to her practice — integrating her background in family medicine with her specialized knowledge in mental health.

Alicia is especially passionate about serving rural communities, where access to mental health care is often limited. She believes that every patient deserves compassionate, evidence-based support, no matter their age or background. Her approach emphasizes collaboration, empowerment, and helping individuals recognize their own resilience and potential for growth.

When working with patients, Alicia strives to create a safe and supportive space where they feel heard, respected, and understood. She is honored to walk alongside her patients as they navigate challenges and discover new ways to heal and thrive.

Outside of her professional role, Alicia enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, and reading. She has always believed in balance, and she values helping her patients find ways to nurture their own well-being in everyday life.
