“I am different, not less.” - Temple Grandin My Approach to Therapy and Modalities I Utilize: Life presents challenges that can feel overwhelming, especially for children and adolescents navigating emotions, relationships, and personal growth. My goal is to create a supportive and collaborative space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to make meaningful changes. I utilize evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and strengths-based approaches to help clients develop coping skills, improve self-awareness, and build resilience.
As a social worker, I understand the importance of meeting clients where they are and tailoring interventions to fit their unique needs. Whether through structured interventions or creative activities like expressive arts and play-based techniques, I strive to make therapy engaging, accessible, and effective. By fostering a safe and compassionate environment, I walk alongside my clients as they navigate their personal journeys, helping them build confidence, develop new perspectives, and find hope in the midst of challenges.
